One season, eight competitions, every result on record.

Yes — the bigger the number, the stronger the team, within its own competition. It's a single combined score built from two things: how much a team scores relative to the league average (Attack Strength) and how well it defends relative to the league average (Defence Strength), averaged together. A team can be mid-table in points but still show a high Power Rating if its underlying numbers are genuinely strong — that gap is exactly what makes this different from just reading the league table.

Volume vs Efficiency Quadrant — "Volume" just means total goals scored, full stop. "Efficiency" means goals scored relative to how many matches that player's team has actually played. Why both matter together: a player with 3 goals from 3 matches is a far more efficient scorer than one with 3 goals from 15 matches, even though the raw goal count looks identical. Plotting both together sorts every scorer into four groups — high in both (the standout scorers), high volume only (scored a lot, but needed more chances to do it), high efficiency only (fewer goals overall, but reliable when given the chance), and below average in both.

Breakout Candidates — this flags players whose goal tally is so far above what's typical in their own competition that it stands out statistically, not just "a bit better than average." Worth a second look precisely because it's rare — but given how small the underlying sample is (see the note above), this means "stands out within the data we actually have," not a guaranteed claim about who the best player really is.

Each square shows how closely two team statistics move together across the season — not whether one causes the other. Green means "when one goes up, the other tends to go up too" (e.g. more goals scored usually means more points). Red means they tend to move in opposite directions (e.g. more goals conceded usually means fewer points). The stronger the color, the stronger that relationship. The row and column both labeled "Points" show, at a glance, which statistics actually track with winning — useful for knowing what to prioritize in training, and what's just noise.

Elo comes from chess. Every team gets one number representing its current strength — but that number only means something compared to other teams, never on its own. After every match, the winner takes points from the loser, and how many depends on who was expected to win. Beat a team you were expected to lose to, and you gain a lot. Beat a team you were expected to crush anyway, and you barely gain anything. That's what makes it useful: it rewards genuine upsets and stops a team padding its rating by repeatedly beating weak sides.

Every team here starts at a neutral 1500 — nobody has history yet, so nobody gets a head start. Ratings then move up or down after each real result, weighted by how big the win was and who was playing at home.
